Baseball
and Softball season is well under way! The Monadnock
Jaffrey-Rindge region, as well as most communities throughout New
Hampshire, enjoy our National past time with enthusiasm. Win lose or
draw there can be no doubt that watching our children play is the way
American and life in general should be. There's nothing better for a
parent or grandparent then to see smiles and cheers of glee when a
game is played at the local ball fields. It's a time honored tradition
that builds a sprit of team and a basic set of rules in a important
time in our children's lives. Win or lose, game after game, We should
be
proud of our children and how the conduct themselves as the fine
players and young adults they are becoming. Take a moment and
check the standings for the Cal Ripken league
then grab a burger and a seat at the Legion field and watch as our
children make their own memories as well as bring back memories of our
own youth. From those famous words "PLAY BALL", you'll enjoy every
moment and be glad you came, and we'll be glad to see you there.......
